The photo library is a free resource allowing campaign partners to access and download high quality photographs relating to waste recycling, reduction and reuse.
To browse the full range of photos available, take a look at our photo collections, or alternatively enter a keyword into our quick search. When you see a photo you like, add it to your lightbox, which stores your photographs until you are ready to download them.
In order to download photos you must first register to become a photo library member. Please note that this process will take up to two working days, during which time your selected photos will be saved for you.
Top tips on searching
- If you are having trouble finding images, you could try the following:
Check the collections folders under Locations and Materials e.g. compost related images can be found under Materials>Organics and Locations>In the Kitchen and Locations>In the Garden.
- If there aren’t many images in a subfolder, try looking in the next level up e.g. if you initially look in Materials>Household materials>Computers, check Materials>Household materials as well.
- Search alternative spellings or descriptions e.g. “carton” instead of “Tetrapak”.
- Try the singular and the plural forms of the search term.
- If your search term consists of two or more words, e.g. “bring bank”, try searching on them individually e.g. “bank”.
